Black Gold consistently passes substance, motion off both ends, correct conformation, size, elegance and attitude to his get. Black Gold's classic bloodlines are crossing very nicely with contemporary lines. He brings length and substance of leg; even and balanced feet with good heel and length of toe; squareness and structural balance (which has made him a top futurity sire); natural propensity to gait; and proportionate size that is lacking in some modern lines.
At 14, Black Gold still works regularly and is the very definition of the "versatility" of the Saddlebred that we hear so much of these days.
